Hello, from Michael, Tim, and Ruby! We are so appreciative of expectant mothers like you who allow us to be parents. We were blessed to become fathers through the adoption of Ruby and are now looking to adopt again. We want to get to know you and your story! We promise to provide your child with a loving, nurturing environment that allows them to excel. Our jobs allow for tons of family time, and your child will live a fulfilling life. It would be amazing for you to stay in your child’s life, too!

Our Relationship

We met on a dating app. It became clear right away that there was chemistry. Our first date was at Longhorn Steakhouse.

If we connect with you, we have some fun stories!

We lived about an hour apart but spent as much time together in person as we could. There was also lots of texting and chatting! About three months into our relationship, we moved in together. This further solidified our relationship, and we began searching for our forever home.

We bought our home together a short time later, with the desire to start a family in mind.

Now, we have achieved that goal by being fathers to Ruby.

Our relationship foundation was built through strong communication, traveling, going on walks/hikes, and spending time with each other’s families. We also love to travel and have been to places like Old Orchard Beach in Maine, Las Vegas, Niagara Falls, NYC, and Howe Caverns. We have taken road trips through Pennsylvania, Virginia, and North Carolina.

In addition to our daughter, Ruby, we have two cockapoos named Abby & Murphy.

They are such small, lovable, and smart dogs! They’re very protective of Ruby and will be of your little one, too!

We married in August 2025 and have not looked back since!

Parenting Philosophy

Our parenting philosophy is simple – provide the love, resources, guidance, and freedom to excel to the best of their ability. We are both patient, nurturing, and flexible. We have the financial stability needed for enrichment through weekend trips to the zoo, museums, amusement parks, family vacations, and more. Your child will be able to find their true self as we are open minded, accepting of everyone. Demonstrating proper behaviors, talking about poor choices, and open communication will be key.

As you’ll learn, we both hold jobs that will allow extensive amounts of family time every evening, weekend, and holiday. Our family is important to us.

Michael is a 3rd Grade Teacher and absolutely loves children. With his educational background you can be assured that learning and development will be a key focus. We spend lots of time playing games and doing activities with Ruby to enhance her learning and gross motor skills. His focus in education is literacy so reading is a must! Ruby already has hundreds of books. Since he is a teacher, that means all the time off your child has off from school he will, too!

Some of Michael’s favorite things include anything Carrie Underwood, reading, and spending time with family. His favorite color is yellow.

His favorite foods include fettucine alfredo, pancakes, homemade spaghetti sauce, and cheeseburgers.

Michael’s favorite books include Thank You Mr. Falker and All the Bright Places.

Tim has evenings, weekends, and holidays off!

Some of Tim’s favorite things include cooking, walking/hiking, and being anywhere near water whether it be a pond, river, or ocean! His favorite foods include shrimp, brussel spouts, and apples. Tim’s favorite book is The Last Lecture.

Our Family

We have an amazing support system in place. Our family and friends are so excited for us to parent another child and share in that joy. The family gathers for all major holidays and for multiple random dinners or adventures throughout the year.

Tim’s Mom, Lou Ann, is retired and lives about 45 minutes away. Ruby spends every Friday with her while Tim and Michael work. She is always available to help when needed. Michael’s Mom, Pam, retired when Ruby came into our lives and watches Ruby on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday while Tim and Michael work. Aunt Jamie watches Ruby on Monday. Our parents and grandparents will spoil your baby, too!

When we bought our home, we did so with raising a family in mind. Situated in a quiet and safe neighborhood, we are just minutes from schools, parks, entertainment, shopping, and Lake Ontario. We are about 20 minutes away from downtown Rochester, The Strong Museum of Play, Redwings Baseball, Seneca Zoo, Sea Breeze Amusement Park, and so much more.

Our home is 2600 sq. ft. and has 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, 2 living rooms, a sitting room, formal dining room, and more. The back yard is fenced in and has an in-ground pool for those hot summer days and pool parties for your child and Ruby!

We recently turned our basement into an epic playroom that will allow Ruby and your child to learn, play, and grow. It is their creative space to be themselves.
