Hi, we’re James & Julia! We’re so excited to become parents and grateful for the opportunity to grow our family through adoption. We promise to love your child unconditionally and provide them with a life full of joy, support, and endless opportunities. Thank you for considering us and for making such a brave, selfless choice.
We’ve learned firsthand that life doesn’t always go as planned. After our first few years as newlyweds, we were excited to start a family. We thought the next step would come naturally, but as the saying goes, “You make plans and God laughs.” After struggling with years of unexplained infertility, we’ve come to believe that this journey has led us here for a reason, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome a child into our lives through adoption.

Our Story;
We both grew up in the same town and have known each other for most of our lives. We were close friends in middle & high school, then went our separate ways for college. But when we both came back home, our shared values, interests, and maybe a little bit of fate brought us back together. Now, as husband and wife, we’re not just partners—we’re each other’s best friend, biggest fan, and constant support.
ABOUT JAMES
James is patient, selfless, and always has a positive outlook. He reminds you not to take life too seriously and live in the present moment. James has a gift for turning even the most mundane tasks, like grocery shopping, into an adventure. As a high school biology teacher, his love for science and helping kids reach their full potential truly shines. He’s also a coach and gives 110% to everything he does. James was truly born to be a dad and I know he will be an amazing one.
ABOUT JULIA
Julia is selfless, dedicated, and focused, with a smile that can light up any room. She’s the glue that holds our family and friend group together, always organizing and making sure everyone feels included. Julia has a successful career in corporate marketing, and is a relationships-first kind of person. She invests her time and energy into the people she cares about, and it shows. Julia has so much love to give, I know she is going to be an amazing mom.
OUR HOME
Our home is in a charming, historic neighborhood with blooming gardens in spring and beautiful foliage in fall. We love sipping coffee on the front porch and enjoying dinners on the back deck. Our house is a gathering spot for game nights with family, friends, and neighbors. We’re close to museums, parks, hiking trails, the lake, playgrounds, amusement parks, and great restaurants, as well as our loved ones. Our home would not be complete without our rescue dog, Snow. She’s brought us immense joy, especially during our struggles with infertility, and has been a greater blessing than we ever imagined.
MEET OUR FAMILY
Family means everything to us. We’re lucky to live just 10 minutes from our parents, both of whom are our biggest supporters. We see them weekly and are close with our siblings, who are also our best friends. We have three nephews ranging from 5 months to 16 years old and a large extended family located across the US. Our families are so excited about our adoption journey and can’t wait to show your baby the same unconditional love they’ve always shown us.
TRAVEL & VACATION:
We have a few trips that we look forward to every year: Labor Day at Lake George and a ski trip in March with James’ family. Plus, a summer week at the beach in Gulf Shores with Julia’s family and a visit to her brother’s family in Denver. When we're not traveling with family, we love visiting places like New Orleans (we love music and oysters!) and Italy (we also love pasta and red wine!).
OUR HOBBIES:
We always say, "people over places and things," because spending time with family and friends is what brings us the most joy. That said, we love getting outdoors for adventures like hiking, kayaking, fishing, and skiing. We’re an active family, much to the dismay of our lazy dog! We also enjoy trying out new restaurants and breweries, but James is such a fantastic cook that we equally love staying in, cooking together, and diving into a new Netflix series.
