Introduction: 

Hi, we are Ryan and Amy! We already adore the kids that are in our lives and look forward to having our own to love, enjoy, and raise into the incredible people they will be. We have always wanted children and are looking forward to realizing this lifelong dream! We are amazed at your bravery for considering an adoption plan and would be honored to become part of your child's life story.

Parenting Philosophy:

We are not yet parents, as we have faced the difficulties of infertility in our marriage. As parents we will provide a family in which our child knows they are loved, safe, and encouraged to be the person they were created to become! We will instill confidence, curiosity, joyfulness, and a loving heart into our child as they grow. We will teach them to be capable learners who can contribute to their family and society.

Our Family:

We met in junior high school and maintained a friendship throughout our school years and after. We began dating as adults and we've been together for over ten years and married for more than eight.

Ryan's parents live ten minutes away and are close to retirement. They are so excited to become full-time grandparents for the first time! Ryan's brother and sister-in-law live an hour away on a beautiful property in the heart of the Finger Lakes.

Amy's parents live two houses down the road and it's been a blessing to have them so close. We often walk to their house, get together for meals or visits, and they sometimes drive to see us on their John Deere Gator. Amy’s sister, brother-in-law, nieces, and nephew live three hours away. We're still able to see each other regularly and keep in touch via texting and video chatting.

We regularly get together with family including grandparents, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins for holidays, birthdays and other happenings. All of our family near and far is joyfully anticipating a new person to love as we grow our family through adoption!

Our Home:

Three years ago we were able to build a ranch style home on two acres of land down the road from where Amy grew up. We've enjoyed creating a happy home where we welcome family and friends. Our property looks out on a beautiful hill where we watch the seasons change and see wildlife and many rainbows! We enjoy the quiet of our property as well as day trips to local parks, and community events such as town fairs, art gallery walks, and frequenting the local farmer’s market.

Our Professions:

Ryan works in logistics for a regional fuel company. Amy is an elementary music teacher and enjoys sharing her love of music with kids each day. Once there is a child in our family, Amy will be able to stay home full time!

Our Hobbies and Interests:

Together we enjoy taking walks, doing projects around our house and yard, having campfires, going to church events, and having “Bealo Adventures”! These could be a day trip, a road trip to Texas, or a Disney vacation!

Ryan enjoys playing golf and hockey, playing piano and guitar, and is involved with the local baseball umpire chapter. He also volunteers with an organization that hosts an outdoor hockey festival to raise awareness and funds for mental health causes.

Amy loves to read, cook and bake, work on craft and quilt projects, and go to antique and thrift stores with her mom.

We really enjoy spending time together and look forward to doing fun activities, running errands, or just relaxing at home. It’s all about finding joy in our everyday life, and we can’t wait to experience that with a child!
