Family Connections, Inc. has many qualified adoptive families wishing and waiting to adopt. Family Connections, Inc. is an Adoption Agency in New York State, that can support your plans to place your birth child into a loving family.

All adoptive families have been thoroughly investigated and have been qualified/approved to become parents through adoption. To become qualified adoptive parents families must complete a home study investigation that involves:
- Interviews by an adoption social worker that assesses their ability to parent a child
- Home safety assessment that ensures their home is safe for a child
- State and national criminal history clearances (no person with a violent criminal history or crimes against children will be qualified/approved as an adoptive parent)
- State and national child abuse clearances (no person with a history of child abuse will be qualified/approved as an adoptive parent)
- Medical examinations
- References
- Proof of income and finanical stability
- Proof of birth and marriage
- Autobiographies
- Training regarding adoptive parenting
All of families waiting to adopt with Family Connections has successfully completed a home study investigation and have been qualified/approved as adoptive parents.
In addition, all of the families waiting to adopt with our agency will be respectful of the birth parent's choices regarding her adoption plan. Whether she wants a closed, semi-open, or open adoption, our adoptive families will honor her decision. Most of our adoptive families are hopeful to have an open relationship with the birth parent (if wanted).
